Errors
I get an error "48 in loading dll" when trying to open Bigfoot. What’s wrong?
Usually this error indicates system .dll files have been corrupted or have been overwritten with incompatible versions. If you are running Microsoft Office, try reinstalling it to clear error. If you do not have Microsoft Office, we recommend updating to the most recent version of Internet Explorer. If this does not work, download the latest Microsoft Jet Engine pack.
Miscellaneous
I can't open the Help File. What’s wrong?
First, verify the path to your browser is correct; this is found in Utilities. Next, you can try to download the latest version of Internet Explorer or an updated HTML Help Viewer from Microsoft.
I updated my software, and now my equipment is missing.
This is because of a new feature that hides equipment that is not assigned to a major category. This can be fixed by going to Utilities/Setup. On the "Custom Settings" tab to the left is an option for "Major category ‘Unassigned’ is hidden on most screens (need to restart).” Make sure that is NOT checked, then restart Bigfoot.
