Bigfoot Web Services Tool Kit
Bigfoot Web Services Tool Kit (WSTK) allows a software developer to programatically insert/extract data to/from Bigfoot core software. Need to do periodic, timed imports of parts, equipment, etc? Want to extract POs created in Bigfoot? Need to connect your Bigfoot data with a reporting tool such as Crystal? Bigfoot WSTK can assist in this process. How Bigfoot Web Services Tool Kit Works:
- WSTK is a standard 'web services' technology that can be implemented from any appropriate WS technology.
- A library of functions allows a developer to programatically perform many of the functions inside the core Bigfoot application.
- Extraction/insertion of data is possible. A developer can easily write an application that can function as an interface, integration, etc.
- The WSTK insures that data is safely exctracted or inserted.
- Access to the assets, purchase orders, work orders, inventory, etc. are all possible.
- Easily extract data from Bigfoot to bind to custom reporting tools such as Crystal Reports.
- You can use your own developers or contract with Smartware Group for custom work.
- There is a fee to use WSTK. You must be a software developer to use this technology. Please contact Smartware Group for details.

Active Directory Sync
Active Directory Sync is a stand-alone utility that integrates users from your local Active Directory with the user-base within Bigfoot CMMS. Advantages include keeping user information (login, password, user information, etc.) in your single AD, yet seamlessly syncing with the Bigfoot CMMS user database.
How AD Sync Works:
- The AD Sync utility is installed on your local network by an IT admin. It "syncs" data between your local AD database and Bigfoot's user tables. It can be run as frequently as you like.
- AD Sync works whether we host or you do.
- When the AD Sync utility "wakes up" it synchronizes all users in AD that are tagged as "Bigfoot Users".
- Syncing includes name, personal information, login, and related.
- Combine this sync process with the ability to have Bigfoot authenticate users from AD and your user-base will only need to remember their company login credentials.
