Part Express
Part Express is an add-on utility that allows quick parts checkout from inside your spare-parts area of your facility. It is a stand-alone utility (PC-based) that talks with Bigfoot CMMS. It has the speed advantages of a PC-based application, yet integrates with your parts/WO information in Bigfoot web. It was designed to allow a user to grab a part and then quickly check that part out (alone or to a work order) with minimal steps. Add bar-code scanning and the process is even faster. How Bigfoot Part Express Works:
- Part Express (PE) is a stand-alone PC based utility that is installed on a PC, typically in your spare-parts area of your facility.
- Although PE is pc-based, it talks seamlessly with the web-version of Bigfoot.
- Grab a part from your crib, walk over to the PC.
- Scan that part with attached bar-code reader - it will quickly locate that part and check it out.
- Parts can be checked out to a specific work order. You can even scan a printed copy of the WO to locate it quickly.
