Traditional or Internet-based - Which is right for you?
Bigfoot comes in two flavors: a traditional PC-based (often called client/server) version and an Internet-based version that runs inside your browser. Feel free to examine both of our solutions.
Internet Based
Choose our Internet-based software if you answer yes to any or most of the following:
- I have multiple facilities; the Internet keeps me connected to them.
- I have many employees and contractors who need access from different locations.
- I prefer to run software via a browser and not have it installed on local PCs.
- I don't want to have to maintain software on my network.

Traditional Software
Choose the Traditional version if you answer yes to any or most of the following:
- I only need access at my facility.
- Software and databases are installed on my local server.
- Remote access is not important.
- I’m required to keep data on my server and am unable to host an Internet-based system.
